I’m sure all vintage bike people know this, but I was pleased to find that 1mm pitch and 60 degree tool works fine for 26 TPI BSC threads. Or at least good enough for me.

I was talking to an ‘old timer’ yesterday. He said that some vintage manufacturers used their own thread. This was often similar to BSC but not exactly the same. An example was on his 1942 Cotton for the rear wheel adjusters.
