My dad used the drawings and the technical description in the 1914 patent to build me this super stiff triangulated Cotton replica. My first outing on it was at the Centenary Rally at Brooklands in 2014. Spoilsport Donna wouldn't let me take it down the Test Hill Here I'm trying out a new racing Avon tyre for dad, what did he say? Ah yes, 8000rpm, front brake hard on, drop the clutch and burn rubber! Entered on behalf of Nancy by Grampy Bob.

Admin showed me how to cheat the system and have a third picture! Dad, Alfie and me at the 2019 Cotton Rally in Gloucester. Got the wheelie sussed but I'm outgrowing my bike! Over to you Alfie.

Are you sure that is the correct shade of red for that year? Also, I don't wish to appear pedantic, but I'm sure the number of rivets on the forks is wrong. Future restorers could easily be misled by inaccurate replicas.

Sorry for posting the wrong picture showing the secret Avon racing tyre trials. They sent me the wrong picture! The one below shows the real test but I think there may have been some manipulation at Avon to disguise tyre tread patterns. Attachments:
